Heat Exchangers Traditional Plate & Frame Heat Exchangers are suseptible to gasket leaks and very high cost of re-gasketing, labor and service charges for maintenance. A popular alternative for applications below 400 gpm is to replace the "plate and frame" type with a GEA FlatPlate, brazed plate heat exchanger. The brazed plate can be "chemically" cleaned and maintained, plus combined with an inlet strainer, can provide years of service. |
