Failure Analysis
GEA WTT can provide Failure Analysis for any brand of brazed plate heat exchanger. Although brazed plate heat exchangers have proven high reliability, sometimes field operation or system problems may cause corrosion, hydraulic shock, thermal shock, scaling, freezing, galvanic corrosion, vibration, or other conditions. Thus, GEA WTT provides a service to all plate heat exchanger users with failure analysis capability. From this service, we make recommendations for system or operation condition changes, recommendations for upgrades to nickel brazed versions, or general maintenance suggestions, to assure heat exchanger reliability and customer satisfaction.
