LT Series Air Dryers
The LT Series Air Dryers is the first brazed plate heat exchangers designed specifically for air dryer applications. The LT Series combines the functions of cooling, drying and re-heating the air in one easy to install unit. The LT Series simplifies installation, reduces costs and improves efficiency. Inlet and outlet connections for air and refrigerant are all that is necessary. The unit is constructed of stainless steel construction for reliability with a total air pressure drop of under 3 psi. The New LT Series is available in sizes from 7 to 182 SCFM.

Operation

The recuperative stage cools the incoming air to start the drying process. The refrigeration section lowers the temperature of the air below the dew point, and water vapor condenses into liquid water droplets. The highly efficient internal water separator operates at low velocity to insure complete removal of water from the air. An automatic condensate drain can be installed in the drain port. The leaving air is then heated in the recuperative section above the dew point to insure clean dry air to the building system.
