XCR Type - eXtended Corrosion Resistance
XCR models have been developed for use in harsh environments, and are many times more resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion than regular stainless steel. XCR models feature plates of a special high grade corrosion resistant stainless steel providing plate heat exchanger efficiency and performance without sacrificing reliability.
Pool and spa heaters, ground water heat pumps, brackish water and other severe applications will benefit from the ultimate in corrosion resistant brazed plate heat exchangers. All WTT Series types are available as XCR Models, and depending on your application, XCR models can be brazed with either copper or nickel alloy.
